The McCain "Miracle"
Last fall, John McCain lost many of his supporters due to his support for the defeated and highly unpopular 2007 Congressional "Amnesty Bill" that President Bush kept pushing.
By December, his campaign was all but over. We were expecting to hear any day that McCain had dropped out of the race.
Then, out of the blue, the media began simultaneously to publish John McCain supporting articles. This blatant manipulation of public opinion breathed new life into his all-but-dead campaign.
McCain's support for amnesty clearly identifies him as a North American Union supporting globalist, and is a member of the CFR.
Advocates of border security should be leery of him.
McCain Double-talk
POWs reveal The Real John McCain!
Why are so many conservatives saying they'd sooner vote for a Democrat or stay home from voting, rather than vote for John McCain?
Some say, "If we are going to have a Liberal fiasco in the White House, I'd rather it be blamed on the Democrat Party".
John McCain's extreme Liberal record include:
McCain-Feingold the most brazen frontal assault on political speech since Buckley v. Valeo.
McCain-Kennedy
the most far-reaching amnesty program in American history.
McCain-Lieberman
the most onerous and intrusive attack on American industry — through reporting, regulating, and taxing authority of greenhouse gases — in American history.
McCain-Kennedy-Edwards
the biggest boon to the trial bar since the tobacco settlement, under the rubric of a patients’ bill of rights.
McCain's opposition to the Bush 2001 and 2003 tax cuts
McCains support for Bush's "Amnesty bill"
McCain's foreign policy inconsistencies:
Poor short-term memory?
Lack of consistency?
Lack of principles?
John McCain's attack on the First Amendment:
The McCain-Feingold Act!
As unlikely as it may seem, under the McCain-Feingold Act it is a crime, punishable under the law, to air an advertisement that criticizes a member of Congress within 60 days of an election!
"This is the First Amendment," Justice Antonin Scalia told lawyers defending the McCain-Feingold Act. "We don't make people guess whether their speech is going to be allowed by Big Brother or not. If you are going to cut off the speech, there ought to be a clear line. . . . And you're not giving us any."
Even President Bush, after signing McCain-Feingold into law in 2002, stated "...the bill does have flaws. Certain provisions present serious constitutional concerns." But he signed it anyway!
Conservative columnist Jacob Sullum writes, "It seems Americans now need permission to speak out on political issues and petition the government. I'd suggest a constitutional amendment protecting those rights, but I thought we already had one."
