GOP Debate #4 (Des Moines, Iowa, June 30th, 2007)
Hardly a "fair and balanced" debate only six of the ten candidates appeared: Romney, Brownback, Gilmore, Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tancredo.
Candidates Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, and Duncan Hunter did not debate.
Ron Paul was not invited (any wonder why?), and held a separate rally, which outdrew the main event by several hundred attendees.
Imagine that, one candidate (Ron Paul) drew a larger crowd than all the others combined!
With no post-debate polls to look to, we have only the numbers of supporters at the event to turn to for who won.
This makes Ron Paul the clear winner of this debate!
This Presidential Candidates Forum was sponsored by the organization Iowans for Tax Relief (ITF) and the Iowa Christian Alliance. Questions had been raised as to the neutrality of the sponsors because ITF Executive Vice President Edward D. Failor, Jr., has made several large contibutions to Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.

GOP Debate #9 (Dearborn, Michigan, October 9th, 2007)
The online CNBC.com poll was taken down after several hours when total number of votes were over 7,500. Why would they take it down rather than continue to show who won? Perhaps it is because ...
Ron Paul received over 70% of the votes in all three categories!
For the question, "Who won the debate":
Paul 74%
Huckabee 7.2%
Romney 5.8%
Thompson 5.5%
Giuliani 3.6%
McCain 1.9%
Brownback <1%
Hunter <1%
Tancredo <1%
